Joseph P. Klosek, CabinetmakerCasework Chairs Tables
An interpretation of the New England Queen Anne style representing several different regional characteristics. The shape of the splat and wide seat is borrowed from a chair made in Connecticut. The block and turned stretchers are typical of Massachusetts chairs. The broad and shallow disc shaped feet can be found on chairs from Rhode Island. The finish is linseed oil and seed-lac shellac.
